Do you engrave all of the slate products, coasters, signs, and serveware?
Yes! We do all the engraving for the coasters, signs, and serveware ourselves at our location.
Are all the designs by HJ's Kitchen?
Yes! Our custom designs and illustrations are exclusively ours, created by us in-house, so you won’t find them anywhere else.

Can I use the trays as a charcuterie board?
Yes! We cover both sides of the trays with food safe
Are the coasters and trays safe to use on my countertops and tables?
Yes! The bottom of the coasters and trays have felt discs to protect your countertops and tables. Felt protects surfaces from scratching.
How do I take care of slate?
- Liquid spills will just be absorbed
- To clean slate wipe just the top
- Wash with soapy warm water on a nonabrasive sponge or washcloth, rinse with cool water with another cloth and dry completely.
- Do not immerse in water
- If greasy use rubbing alcohol
Is slate sustainable?
Yes! Slate is not simply beautiful, but it’s sustainable and eco-friendly.

Do you accept returns or exchanges on personalized or custom-made products?
We examine products carefully before engraving and again at the time of packaging so you can feel confident when you are buying gifts.
If there is a problem with your order, contact us within 10 days of delivery in order for us to try and correct the situation if it's a manufacturer's defect or an error made in production.
Personalized and Custom-made items are refundable for
store credit. We will gladly reproduce any custom order if by some rare chance we made a mistake on our end.
Returns and Exchanges due to defect or production error must be approved prior to any
merchandise being shipped back. Please email support@hjskitchen.com with any problems or issues with your custom product.

No. We cannot accept returns on orders that the customer provided us with incorrect artwork, spelling, typos, or other errors.
Please carefully proofread and spell-check all information provided to us.

Once the order is placed and the check-out process has been
completed, it will not be possible to cancel an order due to the set-up and pre-production process that begins immediately upon receipt of the order.

What are your shipping fees?
Enjoy free shipping on orders shipped anywhere within the 48 continental United States.
Do you ship internationally?
No. At this time we ship anywhere within the 48 continental United States.

We engrave orders after a customer places an order.
Personalized and custom orders typically ship within 7-10 business days, if all approvals have been met in a timely manner.
All products without personalization or customization typically ship within 3-5 business days before shipping.
Please note, if you request express shipping that applies to shipping time only.
